Born and raised in Victoria, Jan has a lifelong passion for movement, health, and the outdoors. When she’s not working with clients, she can often be found trail running, cycling, hiking, or paddleboarding.

After retiring from her previous career in 2021, Jan decided to follow a long-standing interest in exercise and healthy living, with a particular focus on helping people become stronger, move more confidently, and live more active lives. She is especially passionate about supporting adults who may be recovering from injury, returning to exercise after time away, transitioning from a more sedentary lifestyle, or simply looking for guidance on where to begin.

Passionate about helping people build strength, improve mobility, and stay active for life, Jan’s approach focuses on creating realistic, personalized programs that fit into everyday life and help clients feel stronger, move with confidence, and continue doing the activities they enjoy.

She brings both professional expertise and a lifetime of personal experience to her coaching. Jan holds certifications in Personal Training, Older Adult Fitness, Weight Training, Group Fitness, and TRX Suspension Training. She has also completed over 40 triathlons ranging from sprint to Ironman distances, previously coached athletes as a certified NCCP Triathlon Coach, trained and instructed Karate for more than 10 years, and, more recently, completed four ultramarathon trail races. Her experiences continue to reinforce her belief that long-term health and fitness are built through consistency, movement, and sustainable habits over a lifetime.

“Whatever your age, experience, or starting point, it’s never too late to build healthy movement habits, become stronger, and discover what is possible for you.”

Rob Hasegawa is passionate about helping people move better, feel better, and return to the activities they enjoy most. His approach combines thorough assessment, hands-on care, movement education, and practical strategies designed around each patient’s goals and lifestyle.

With extensive experience working with a wide range of patients — from active individuals and recreational athletes to people simply wanting to move through daily life more comfortably — Rob focuses on understanding the root causes contributing to pain, movement limitations, and recurring issues rather than simply treating symptoms.

Rob has also worked extensively with high-performance athletes and has provided chiropractic care as part of the medical team for the Canadian National Triathlon Team at two Olympic Games and eight Triathlon World Championships. This experience has further strengthened his understanding of movement, performance, injury management, and helping people return to the activities that matter most to them.

As an athlete himself, Rob brings decades of personal experience in training, performance, and resilience to his work. His athletic background spans over 30 years and includes a 2:41 marathon, a 32:20 10 km performance, multiple Ironman finishes with a personal best of 9:38, and more recently a podium finish at HYROX Vancouver 2025 along with a podium finish at the 2026 Hornby 25km trail race. Today, Rob continues to train and compete, reinforcing his belief that strength, movement, and long-term health are built through consistency and sustainable habits over a lifetime.

Rob believes education is an important part of the process. He works closely with patients to help them better understand how their bodies move and provides practical recommendations, exercises, and strategies that support long-term progress and help reduce the likelihood of recurring problems.

Patients appreciate Rob’s thoughtful, methodical approach and his ability to clearly explain what is happening and create realistic plans that fit into everyday life. His goal is not only to help people feel better today, but also to help them stay active, move confidently, and continue doing the things they love.

At Good To Go Sports Therapy, Rob believes long-term health is built through a combination of treatment, education, movement, and sustainable habits.
